What Does Betanga Wellness and Education Center Offer?
Betanga Wellness and Education Center offers education, wellness resources, prevention and awareness programming, supportive coaching, workshops, grief education, and community-resource navigation for individuals, parents, caregivers, families, youth, and communities.
Does Betanga provide psychotherapy or clinical mental-health treatment?
No. Current programs are educational and supportive. They are not psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnosis, clinical assessment, mental-health treatment, or crisis intervention.
Who can participate?
Individuals, parents, caregivers, families, youth, young adults, and community members may participate depending on the specific program or educational service.
Do you provide parenting education?
Yes. Parenting education can address practical family-life knowledge, communication, caregiving, child development, confidence, and supportive resources.
Do you offer workshops or classes?
Workshops, virtual classes, community programs, and related learning opportunities are part of the organization’s current direction as offerings are developed and confirmed.
Can you help me find community resources?
Yes. Community-resource navigation helps individuals and families identify and connect with appropriate organizations, educational resources, and referrals.
What areas can education and support cover?
Current areas include parenting and family life, child development, single-parent empowerment, wellness and self-care, trauma-informed education, domestic-violence awareness, suicide-prevention awareness, grief education, and community resources.
What if I need clinical mental-health treatment?
Individuals who need clinical treatment should seek an appropriately licensed mental-health professional. Betanga’s current programs are not a replacement for licensed clinical care.
What if I need domestic-violence advocacy or crisis intervention?
Current programs provide awareness education and resource connection, not emergency domestic-violence advocacy or crisis intervention. Seek an appropriately qualified local organization or emergency service.
How do I get started?
Use the Get Started page to ask about current educational programs, wellness resources, workshops, supportive coaching, or community-resource navigation.
What happens after I contact the organization?
You can share what you are hoping to learn, strengthen, or connect with. The organization can then help identify an appropriate current program or next resource within its scope.
How much do programs cost?
Current program fees and family packages are available in our downloadable Fees & Packages document (PDF). Accepted payment methods are listed on our Fees & Payment page. Final fees and payment arrangements are confirmed before enrollment. We do not accept health insurance at this time.
What if I am experiencing an emergency?
This website is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
